Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Glitter Chest! We want you to love your order and enjoy creating with our products. Please read our returns and refunds policy carefully before making a purchase.

Returns

We want you to love your sparkle! If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return or exchange within 14 days of delivery under the following conditions:

  • Eligible items: Only unused, unopened products in their original packaging are eligible for return.

  • Non-returnable items:

    • Opened or used glitter, pigments, resins, or custom mixes (for hygiene and contamination reasons)

    • Clearance or sale items

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item or damaged goods)

Cancellations

Orders can be canceled within 12 hours of purchase if they have not yet shipped. Once an order is processed or shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, please contact us at info@theglitterchest.co.uk for instructions and return authorisation.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.


Testing & Compatibility

We test all of our glitters in solution; however, results may differ depending on the medium, method, and environment used in your projects. We strongly recommend testing products on a small scale before committing to larger projects, as we cannot guarantee identical results in every case.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we will happily arrange either an exchange or a partial refund.

  • Proof of damage (such as photos) will be required.

  • You must notify us within 7 days of delivery by emailing info@theglitterchest.co.uk with your order number and details.

  • Once verified, we will confirm the next steps with you.

Exchanges (if applicable)

In the case of damaged or incorrect items, we may arrange a replacement to be sent out at no additional cost once the issue has been verified.

Important Notes

  • We cannot accept returns of opened products.

  • We do not accept returns or refunds for bleeding or tinting of glitter, as this is disclosed prior to purchase and can vary depending on use.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
